Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient nephrology consults and care.


• Manage assigned patients, including those requiring admission.


• Handle call duties for nephrology patients during the assignment.


• Collaborate with a team of specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Additional Information:

• Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Nephrology.


• Fellowship: Required in Nephrology.


• Licensure: Active Minnesota medical license or eligibility through the IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) required.


• EMR System: MediTech.


• Patients Per Shift: 15 patients.


• Holidays Covered: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and 4th of July.

Qualifications:

• Must have current ACLS and BLS certifications.


• A Minnesota license is required, or eligibility through IMLC.


• Hospital privileges are not required, but the provider should be able to obtain temporary privileges.


• Minimum Board Certification eligibility is required, with Fellowship in Nephrology.


• Rounding will be required for assigned patients.
