We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position near Sacramento, California. This role involves providing comprehensive care in both an ambulatory clinic and hospital setting, including call coverage.


Assignment Details:



  • Specialty: OB/GYN

  • Position Type: Locum Tenens

  • Contract Length: Ongoing

  • Shift Times: 8:00 am - 8:00 am (24-hour shifts)

  • Shift Type: Varied

Work Details:



  • Setting:

    • Ambulatory Clinic: Office visits and procedures

    • Hospital: Outpatient (OP) and Inpatient (IP) surgeries, call, and deliveries



  • Full-Time Equivalent (FTE):

  • Providers Needed: 2

  • Duties: Full scope OB/GYN responsibilities in both clinic and hospital settings

  • Required Procedures: Usual and customary for an OB/GYN practice

  • EMR System: Cerner

  • Patients Per Day: 20-24

  • Support Staff: Dedicated Medical Assistant (MA)

  • Worksite Resources: 2 full-time OB/GYN physicians and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support

  • Reason for Coverage: Providing interim coverage while recruiting for open positions to ensure continuous patient access and hospital call responsibilities


Certification Requirements:



  • Board Certification: Required

  • Board Eligibility: Considered

  • DEA: Required

  • State License: California license required
