We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Dayton, OH. This opportunity is available ASAP and ongoing, with a focus on in-person coverage.


Position Overview:



  • Position: Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist

  • Location: Near Dayton, OH

  • Dates: ASAP - Ongoing

  • Rate Type: Daily

  • Shift Type: Days

  • Weekend Requirements: Yes

  • On Call Requirements: Yes, including weeknight and weekend call


Key Responsibilities:



  • In-Person Coverage:

    • Provide interventional radiology services on-site at both hospital and imaging center.



  • Call Schedule:

    • 7 days per week, with responsibilities for weeknight and weekend call.




Practice Details:



  • Reason for Coverage: Need for in-person interventional radiology coverage.

  • Practice Setting: Hospital and imaging center.

  • Annual ER Volume: Approximately 80,000 cases.

  • Documentation System/EMR: Full Epic and PACS.

  • Number of Exam Rooms: 2 radiology rooms.

  • Number of Radiologists in Practice: 2 IRs.

  • Support Staff: Fully staffed radiology group.


Procedures Required:



  • General community interventional radiology procedures.

  • Strong focus on biopsy and cancer needs.


Submission Requirements:



  • Board Certification: Required.

  • BLS/ACLS Certification: Required.

  • OH State License: Required.

  • Fellowship in Nuclear or Mammography: Preferred.


Additional Information:



  • Patient Demographic: Adult.

  • Volume of Procedures: 15-25 per day.
